Requirements

  • ESX Legacy (es_extended)
  • oxmysql
  • ox_lib
  • esx_addonaccount

The highlights

  • Society money. Deposit and withdraw from the job's esx_addonaccount account, the same society_<job> account esx_society and the paychecks use. Moves are atomic and throttled, and logged.
  • Members. List online and offline staff, hire nearby players (they get a dialog and must accept), fire, promote and demote.
  • Ranks. Create, edit and delete grades in ESX job_grades, with a salary cap.
  • Trainings. Hand out and remove special trainings per job.
  • Hierarchy. A boss can only act on grades strictly below their own, and never on the boss grade.
  • Server decides. The UI only asks. Permissions, distance to a boss zone and enabled features are checked on the server.

Configuration

config.lua sets the language (Danish or English), the command and optional key, the boss zones a boss must stand in, which jobs get the menu, money limits and cooldowns, the hiring rules, and an optional Discord webhook for the log. Whole modules can be switched off with Config.Features.

Who is the boss

The boss grade is the highest grade the job has in job_grades.

It uses es_extended and esx_addonaccount directly.

Install

  1. Put manniche_bossmenu in your resources folder.
  2. Import sql/install.sql. It creates two tables, manniche_bossmenu_transactions and manniche_bossmenu_training.
  3. Each job in Config.Jobs needs a society_<job> row in addon_account. The standard ESX job SQL files already create them.
  4. Add ensure manniche_bossmenu to server.cfg, after es_extended, oxmysql, ox_lib and esx_addonaccount.
  5. Bosses open it with /bossmenu.

Questions

Which framework does it need?

It runs on ESX Legacy (es_extended). Everything it needs is listed under Requirements at the top of this page. Unsure about your setup? Ask on the support page.

Is it escrowed?

The script is delivered through Cfx.re, and protected files only run with a key from your account. The config files stay open, so you can change them. More on the support page.

Are updates free?

Yes. Bug fixes and updates are free for as long as the script is maintained, and they show up in your Cfx.re portal. Patch notes are posted in the Discord. See the support page.

Can I get a refund?

The refund policy says what applies.

Got a Question?

The docs have the install guide and every config option. Still stuck? Open a ticket in the Discord.
